Lol god I felt that about not posting a opinion (especially if it's not raving praise!!) on a Nintendo game publicly lol. I won't tag this so as to not start shit for myself 🤣

I am curious why you don't think it's good tho? Is it like the gameplay itself is rough? The plots meh? And hey, no wrong answers with me lol. I genuinely just really like Zelda and hearing people's opinions, even if they're negative cuz even if I don't agree right away, it helps me to look at videogames like zelda more critically and not just eyes shining due to it being a special interest of mine hah. (Arin Hanson of game grumps opinions on Ocarina of time forever changed how I view Zelda games! Cuz he's totally right for the most part, but god I HATED his opinions at first!!)

I have been seeing some dislike/hate over the art style, but Im not surprised by that tbh. People hated Wind Waker when it came out cuz they wanted the edgier link that was teased (and I think then inspired TP if I remember my lore properly lol), people hated on link between worlds and links awakening remake and just yeah lol. As soon as I saw the style I've been worried that people would write it off entirely cuz the art style, but since it's out now I'm curious cuz I've heard some meh over the UI elements and the art style, but I haven't had enough time to rifle through the tags very much. So I'm curious what else we're feeling meh about lol! Or what we love! I like hearing people's experiences with it.

#this is why i cant talk to ppl about Zelda lol cuz they do get very uhh... fighty?? very quick #i like to think that i can see the flaws and the positives #and most of the time flaws i can overlook/sometimes they dont even bother me but are a dealbreaker for other ppl #and vice versa!#for example i love the companions following you around in totk #yeah occasionally the camera wpuld go wonky and id be looking at someones ass and not my current enemy lmao #but for the most part i had no issues whatsoeger and if i needed them to realign id just grab onto a wall so everyone but tulin would zip #into me and then id just jump back down and move on #but for other ppl i understand that was a dealbreaker!#i just have a lot of love for companions in video games (like skyrim is my fave example of this!!)#vice versa is probably that i reeeeeeeeeally dont like a lot of the skyward sword mechanics #yeah cuz of the motion controls but also just like a lot of the items are lame and i dunno i still to this day havent played it all the way #ive watched it be completed sooooo many times but i can nevwr get past.... 5he sand sea area #idk i just get bored of it #anyway yeah zelda is my fave game series probably #but that doesnt make it perfect #and it doesnt mean every new game is a bangwr!!!#i just want zelda herself tp be treated well 😭😭 and not like 'ooo girl! girl cant use sword or be cool! cuz shes a girllllll' ya know??
